Commitment to road safety and sustainability

At Bypass Skredsikring AS, we are committed to saving lives and protecting critical infrastructure. Our innovative and sustainable safety tunnel is used to ensure safe and open roads, and secure construction sites.

Climate change is making Norway increasingly vulnerable to extreme weather. This leads to more rockfalls, landslides and avalanches, forcing the Norwegian authorities to invest in protection measures.

For the past 100 years, there has been little innovation in the field of avalanche and rockfall protection, until now. Bypass Sikkerhetstunnel is an innovative, safe, and sustainable safety tunnel that protects critical infrastructure in areas prone to rockfalls.

Prefabricated components: Fast and efficient assembly in record time.

From experiment to a proven product – driven by knowledge, experience, and determination

Founder and CEO Kjell Fylkesnes is our main shareholder, alongside Jakob Hatteland, one of the pioneers behind Norway’s first unicorn company, AutoStore.

Our technical team brings extensive industrial expertise, playing a crucial role in getting us to where we are today – with a full-scale tested and patented product.

We have worked closely with the incubator Atheno and received support from Innovsjon Norge and Skattefunn. We have invested, conducted extensive testing and simulations, and today we are ready to deliver a thoroughly tested, large-scale solution.
